REGISTRATION: The deadline for “A Woman’s Affair” is Monday, February 23, 2009. Registrations will be accepted until the event is full, however, if you register past the deadline, February 23, their will be an additional $75 late fee added to your registration fee. Full registration fee is due upon registration unless other arrangements have been made. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION: You will receive a confirmation e-mail or post card in the mail confirming your registration for the event. This e-mail or post card is your receipt for your records. If you do not receive a confirmation within two weeks of sending in your registration, please call to confirm receipt. If for any reason your registration is not accepted, your registration fee will be returned to you promptly.
SET UP : Friday, March 27, 2009 12:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
You must check in for set up by 5:00 p.m. on Friday or your space may be given to another exhibitor. Exhibitors are not allowed to start packing up or taking down their displays until the show closes on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. For more detailed information on set up, see the following page titled “Set Up Information.”
RETAIL SALES EXHIBITS ONLY – STATE SALES TAX : Exhibitors are individually responsible for paying their state sales tax on retail sales. A State Tax Packet prepared by the State of New Mexico is available upon request for your use. You may contact the State of New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department at 505-841-6200 for additional information.
CANCELLATIONS: Refunds on cancellations will not be honored beyond February 23, 2009, regardless of when you registered. Therefore, if you register past February 23, you are not eligible for a refund.
DISPLAYS/EQUIPMENT RENTAL : All spaces will be draped with an eight-foot high backdrop and sides. Corner spaces located in a quad (two spaces back to back) will have two eight-foot high drapes with two open sides. You will also receive a custom-made business sign that hangs at the top of your backdrop, and one (1) six foot (6’) draped table with two chairs. Any additional display equipment must be provided by the exhibitor. Enclosed is a Disco Display House Exhibitor’s Rental/Service Order Form with prices for rental of tables, chairs, lights, extension cords, pegboard, etc. If you are ordering electricity or any additional display equipment, you must fill out the order form and mail it to Disco Display House with a check made out to them or credit card number on the form. Leave the Booth # box blank on the form. For any other accessory rental, contact Disco Display House at (505) 265-1515. No nails, screws or tape may be used on any walls or structures that are not a part of your own display. All tables must be draped or skirted to the floor. Please make every effort to create an attractive, professionallooking display and keep in mind the flow of customers in, out and around your area.

ELECTRICAL ORDERS: There is a base rate of $29 for 5 amps or 500 watts of plug-in electricity. Please refer to the attached Disco Display House Exhibitor’s Rental/Service Order Form. If you are ordering electricity (or any display equipment) you must fill out the enclosed Disco Display House Exhibitor’s Rental /Service Order Form, with a check made out to them or credit card numberon the form, and mail it to them separately. Leave Booth # box blank on the Order Form, we will provide your booth number to them at a later date.
SECURITY: A Security Officer will be on duty inside the building while the show is closed.
SPACE ASSIGNMENTS : You will receive your space assignment when you arrive for set-up. Enclosed is a proposed, not final, floor plan that is subject to change without notice. Your space will be assigned by and at the discretion of the promoter.
MISSION &THEME: “A Woman’s Affair” mission is to offer a wide range of resources to everyone for the enrichment of creating beauty, balance and simplicity in their lives and offer business owners the opportunity to network, advertise, and expand their business in our community. Exhibits will include but are not limited to professional services available in the areas of Health – mind, body, and spirit; beauty consultation and products; cooking foods and products; home decorating and maintenance; clothing and accessories; travel and relaxation; new auto, maintenance and repair; financial consulting; and education.
RV PARKING ON THE GROUNDS: Over night RV parking is available on the grounds with water and electrical hook ups for a fee. You may contact the Expo New Mexico (fairgrounds) at 505-265-1791 for more information and to make your reservation.
VIDEOTAPING/PHOTOGRAPHS: If you and/or your merchandise are videotaped or photographed for the purpose of producing television commercials and advertising for on-going shows, “A Woman’s Affair” has your permission and consent to use such videotape/photographs.
DOOR PRIZES: Door Prizes will be given away during the show. Your donations of Gift Certificates or merchandise will be very much appreciated.
RISK & LIABILITY: The“ A Woman’s Affair” proprietorship and Expo New Mexico are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of exhibitor’s merchandise or display equipment. The exhibitor agrees to hold harmless the “A Woman’s Affair” proprietorship and Expo New Mexico and any of its employees from any damage or loss to exhibitor's property or any personal injury he/she may sustain during the show. The “A Woman’s Affair” proprietorship reserves the right to cancel the show due to Acts of God, weather, or unforeseen events out of the promoter’s control, in which case the promoter will not be liable for refunds or other liabilities.
